Step 1. Download & Install the Plugin Template

Please contact us for the link for the Express template and for beta access. Then follow the prompt to install the Template for your Chatfuel or ManyChat Messenger Bot.

(If you’ve already install the template – skip this step!)

Step 2. Create the Spin Wheel in CodelessBot

In CodelessBot and create a new Spin Wheel. You’ll need to customize the color of your Spin Wheel and enter all your prizes.

Chatfuel Instructions
  1. In CodelessBot, click on “Spin the Wheel” (on the left-hand sidebar)
  2. Then click on the button “New Spin Wheel”
  3. Follow the instructions in the 4 tabs to customize your prize and Spin Wheel design.
  4. Then, follow the installation instructions in the Setup tab.
ManyChat Instructions
  1. In CodelessBot, click on “Spin the Wheel” (on the left-hand sidebar)
  2. Then click on the button “New Spin Wheel”
  3. Follow the instructions in the 4 tabs to customize your prize and Spin Wheel design.
  4. Then, follow the installation instructions in the Setup tab.

Step 3. Display Prize Details for the Spin Wheel

From the dropdown in the tab “Step 4 – Setup Wizard”, select “Get Details for Collect Prize Message”. Follow the instructions in the wizard to send users a confirmation of their prize.

FAQs

1. What's the pricing for the Spin the Wheel plugin?

The “Spin the Wheel” is a CodelessBot Plugin. When you subscribe to a CodelessBot plan will receive a certain number of interactions each month. Every time a user generates the link to a Spin Wheel, views a Spin Wheel or gets information about a Spin Wheel, it will cost you 1 interaction. For more details on the number of interactions for each plan, refer to the FAQ “How many Spin Wheel Designs can I create?” or visit our pricing page.

2. How many digital Spin Wheel can I create?

The max number of Spin Wheel you can create will depend on your plan. Also keep in mind that the Spin Wheel plugin will also require a Bot Integration. Each plans comes with a different max number of Bot Integration.

For example, if you’re on the Pro plan, you’ll be able to create a total of 50 Spin Wheel Designs for 2 Messenger Bots.

3. Can I install the Spin Wheel on multiple bots?

You are allowed to install the Spin Wheel plugin on any bots that you own or manage on an ongoing basis for a client. (More Details)

Also keep in mind that you can only create a limited number of Spin Wheel and this plugin also requires that you setup a Bot Integration. (Each plan comes with a different number of bot integration)

4. Does the Spin Wheel link expire?

Users can access the Spin Wheel by clicking on a link. Each Spin Wheel link is unique, will expire in 24 hours and has a preset prize that’ll be assigned by your bot template.

After 24 hours, a user will see a message stating “Sorry! This Spin Wheel is no longer available.”

5. Can I see a sample preview of my Spin Wheel?

Yes! To preview your Spin Wheel, just click on the blue “Preview” button in CodelessBot.

6. How many custom fields/attributes can I save to a Spin Wheel?

You can save up to 13 custom fields/attributes to a Spin Wheel.

7. Can I randomize the prize?

Yes, you can randomize the prize by customizing the settings in the Spin the Wheel Bot template.

8. Can I restrict the number of "spins" per user?

Yes, you can set the max number of spins for a single user by customizing the settings in the Spin Wheel Bot template.
